Discover Church seeks a Spirit-filled worship leader who is also a builder at heart. They will lead worship and production across our campuses, develop leaders, and strengthen systems to create worship experiences that are authentic, excellent, and sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Working closely with the Lead Pastor, the Worship Director will shepherd teams, recruit and equip volunteers, and cast vision for worship that fosters genuine encounters with God on Sundays and beyond.

• Capable vocalist and instrumentalist who can confidently lead a room in worship.
• Proven track record of recruiting, equipping, and multiplying leaders while building healthy teams.
• Above-average competency in audio, video, and lighting, with ability to lead production teams.
• A heart for creating environments where musical excellence and spiritual sensitivity help people encounter God.

We’re looking for a Spirit-filled worship leader who’s also a builder at heart. Someone who can lead a room in worship, develop people, build healthy teams, and create moments that make an eternal difference.

Working closely with the Lead Pastor, the Worship Director will lead our Worship and Production ministries across both campuses, develop leaders, strengthen systems, and help create worship experiences that are authentic, excellent, and sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Four Things We’re Looking For:

• A Worship Leader Who Can Lead. A capable male vocalist and instrumentalist who can confidently and effectively lead a room in worship.
• A Builder Who Develops People. A proven track record of recruiting, equipping, and multiplying leaders while building healthy teams, systems, and ministries.
• Strong AVL Chops. Above-average competency in audio, video, and lighting, with the ability to lead production teams and execute excellent worship experiences.
• A Heart for Worshipful Moments. A passion for creating environments where musical excellence and spiritual sensitivity work together to help people genuinely encounter God.

Here’s the bottom line: We’re not just hiring someone to lead worship on Sundays. We’re looking for a shepherd, leader, and builder who loves Jesus, loves people, and is hungry to make a difference.

Today, we’re a growing, multisite church with campuses in Kansas City’s Northland and Liberty, reaching approximately 550 people each week.
