Job summary

Highpoint Church in the Denver metro area is seeking a gifted Worship Director/Pastor to lead engaging worship experiences, recruit and develop volunteers, and help shape a thriving worship ministry as the church grows.

You will oversee rehearsals, set lists, and multi-track workflows, build a healthy team culture, and collaborate across weekend services to inspire the congregation and help people Know God, Find Freedom, Discover their Purpose, and Make a Difference.

Qualifications

• Exceptional vocal ability and congregational worship leadership.
• Strong musical competency with at least one instrument and Nashville Number System familiarity.
• Experience recruiting, training, and developing volunteer musicians and vocalists.
• Proficiency with Planning Center Services and MultiTracks.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to lead effectively in a growing, multi-service church environment.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and solutions‑oriented ministry approach.
• 5+ years of worship leadership experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Worship:Provide exceptional vocal and musical leadership that engages the congregation and creates meaningful annointed worship experiences.
• Plan Worship Experiences:Select and prepare worship sets, arrangements, and transitions that align with the vision and direction of weekend services.
• Develop Volunteers:Recruit, audition, train, schedule, and care for volunteer musicians and vocalists while developing future worship leaders.
• Provide Musical Direction:Lead rehearsals, coach musicians and vocalists, develop harmonies, and maintain a high standard of musical excellence.
• Manage Worship Systems:Utilize Planning Center to create orders of service, manage song resources, and schedule teams. Prepare and operate MultiTracks, including click tracks, guide tracks, and stems.
• Build a Healthy Team Culture:Foster a collaborative, encouraging, and spiritually healthy environment where volunteers are equipped to grow and serve with excellence.
