Job summary

The Well Church in Boulder is seeking a part-time Worship Director who loves Jesus and His church. You will plan and lead worship for two Sunday services, recruit and develop musicians, and oversee sound volunteers, all while aligning songs with preaching and the church calendar.

Ideal candidates are mature in faith, able to lead a band, and skilled at building a cohesive worship team that values timeliness and growth. Compensation is $22,000–$26,000 annually.

Qualifications

• A mature, growing Christian who can articulate sound doctrine.
• Able to lead a band from at least one instrument and to teach vocal harmony.
• A proven team builder who can spot and develop talent.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead congregational worship for Sunday services.
• Recruit, develop, and schedule musicians and vocalists, and run weekly rehearsals.
• Build a healthy team culture that values faithfulness, punctuality, and growth.
• Work with the lead pastor to tie song selection to the preaching and the church calendar.
• Oversee the sound and tech volunteers who support Sunday worship.

Job description

The Well Church in Boulder exists to advance Christ's lordship for God's glory and our good. We're a Southern Baptist congregation gathering Sundays at 9:00 and 10:45 am at 300 S. Broadway, Boulder. We're looking for a part-time Worship Director who loves Jesus and His church and can lead our people in theologically rich, Christ-centered worship.
