Job summary

All Saints’ Church in Virginia seeks a full-time Music Director to lead blended Anglican worship, combining traditional hymnody with contemporary pieces. You will oversee music ministry, coordinate with the Rector, and direct instrumentalists, vocalists, and choir teams.

Qualifications

• Skilled vocalist and proficient in at least one instrument.
• Experience leading blended musical worship in Anglican context.
• Degree in a related field is an asset; experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads and oversees all aspects of Music Ministry in consultation with the Rector.
• Plans and leads musical worship for Sunday services and events per ACNA calendar.
• Directs Sunday teams and actively recruits and develops new members.
• Leads worship teams and choir rehearsal weekly.
• Prepares communications with the church Communications Director.
• Maintains all church-owned instruments and audio/visual equipment; recommends upgrades.
• Develops and manages the worship arts and AV budget.
• Oversees volunteers in audio/visual ministry; schedules them monthly.
