Full-time, 40 hours per week, with health benefits
All Saints’ Church is seeking a full-time Music Director to provide leadership in all areas of musical worship in the life of our vibrant and growing congregation. Prospective candidates will model a mature personal faith in Jesus Christ, excel in leading blended musical worship which incorporates traditional hymnody with contemporary Christian worship in a distinctly Anglican context, and further develop and integrate music and worship arts into all areas of congregational life. This position has an important role in the Sunday morning worship services, as All Saints’ Church seeks to bring the diverse members of our community into the presence of God. The Music Director reports directly to the Rector.
This role is not open to musicians who are only seeking “gig” work but instead we are seeking someone who desires to invest in this community. Every member of the All Saints’ staff team works together to build community together and as such this full-time ministry position must take priority over other work or performance opportunities.
While this role has a definite scope, we are looking for the right fit for our growing church community. We are open to tailoring this role in some aspects as the gifts and talents of the individual are discerned.
We are seeking candidates who have a strong desire to maintain and further develop the Worship Arts Ministry in all respects as we continue to grow as fully committed disciples of Jesus Christ worshiping in the Anglican tradition.
