Arlington Independent School District is seeking a World Languages Lead Specialist to partner with the Director of World Languages in guiding district programs, curricula, and professional learning for Emergent Bilingual students.

The role emphasizes collaboration across campuses, evaluation of instructional programs, and leadership in curriculum design and staff development to improve student outcomes in ESL/Bilingual contexts.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in curriculum and instruction or education leadership preferred.
• ESL/Bilingual credentials preferred (Texas).
• Minimum leadership experience in instructional projects or programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead leadership and coordination of World Language Department programs.
• Collaborate with district/campus staff to enhance teacher effectiveness.
• Support curriculum development, professional learning, and resource selection.
• Coordinate instructional programs and initiatives across campuses.
• Assist with climate, culture, and operations for Emergent Bilingual students.
• Lead staff development and coaching for teachers.
