Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small group instruction to Emergent Bilinguals using the MLP curriculum.
• Assess EB needs and select appropriate materials and programs.
• Push into classrooms to support language acquisition for EB scholars.
• Instruct students in basic English language and primary language foundations.
• Ensure EB accommodations and collaborate with teachers to meet language goals.
• Monitor EB progress and adapt interventions accordingly.
• Meet with parents and teachers to update on performance.
• Attend Multilingual Programs trainings and LPAC meetings as needed.
• Collaborate with staff and participate in staff development.
• Refer to other programs to ensure proper EB representation.
