Job summary

Community College of Baltimore County seeks creative and experienced World Language instructors to teach Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish. Adjuncts may teach up to 9 credits, with classes day and evening at Catonsville and Essex campuses, external high schools, and online.

Master’s in the language taught and college-level experience are preferred. Pay is $1,085 per credit hour for adjunct instructors, with multiple campus locations and optional online

• Two years of experience teaching a world language in college, high school, or accredited school.
• Experience teaching world language at the college-level preferred.

CCBC is seeking creative and experienced World Language instructors to join our program. We offer classes at beginning to high-intermediate levels of Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish. Instructors should have fluency, expertise and experience teaching one of the languages offered. We offer classes during the day and in the evenings on our Catonsville and Essex campuses and in external high schoollocations. We also offer fully asynchronous online classes(additional qualifications are required). Adjunct instructors mayteach up to 9 credits.

Instructors will be required to complete forms and documentationrequired by the college for employment.

Pay Level: $1,085 per credit hour

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
