Job summary

Amazon NASC Engineering is seeking an innovative Operations Engineer to support Process Design Engineering initiatives for next-generation sortation and transportation systems at the NASC. You will drive end-to-end process designs, collaborate with internal teams and vendors, and lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment across global sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate efforts to develop optimal solutions and processes for the sortation and transportation network through material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.
• Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time.
• Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.
• Effective communication skills, ability to execute the vision, detailed roadmap, and specific technical solutions.
• 50% travel requirement to visit sites and support projects.
