Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Racine, Wisconsin, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Maintenance Technician to lead PM/AM pillar activities, train maintenance staff, and drive zero-breakdown performance. You will track KPIs, perform root-cause analysis, and develop SMPs and OPLs while ensuring safety and quality records.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in manufacturing, strong communication and project-management skills, and the ability to work cross-shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with World Class Manufacturing activities and PM/AM pillar requirements.
• Train and coach team members; document development.
• Lead meetings and track PM/AM KPIs.
• Identify gaps and support closure actions.
• Lead Kaizens and Pillar improvement activities.
• Develop and document SMPs, OPLs, and other AM/PM tools.
• Ensure safety, quality records, and housekeeping standards.
