The Maya in Long Beach is seeking an experienced Bartender to maintain beverage service standards and deliver world-class service to guests. • Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Must meet legal age requirements for the position.
• Food handler certification required.
• RBS certification required.
• TIPS certified

Responsibilities

• Present menu and take beverage orders from guests and staff.
• Clean bars, work areas, glasses, utensils and bar equipment.
• Maintain a safe facility and safety-first practices to stay accident-free.
• Knowledge of spirits, beer, wine by the glass, and coffee/tea options.
• Create drink recipes and maintain menu knowledge; operate the POS system.
• Ensure tips are reported properly for tax processing.
• Monitor for responsible service and notify management of potential concerns.
• Maintain presence behind the bar and support a safe work environment.
• Provide personable, high-quality guest interaction.
