Job summary

On-site in Wichita, KS, Yoh seeks a Workstation Support Technician to maintain Windows-based workstations and related equipment. You will provide in-person and remote support, track tickets, and improve the end-user experience through clear communication and effective troubleshooting.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in workstation support, and familiarity with DNS, Active Directory, and VPN. Expect a 7:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule with some overtime potential.

Workstation Support Technician - Wichita, KS

Be the hands‑on IT support partner who keeps teams productive every day. In this role, you'll be the go‑to resource for diagnosing issues, setting up equipment, and helping end users get the most from their technology-on site in Wichita and occasionally across nearby locations.

Overview

We're looking for a Workstation Support Technician to support and maintain Windows‑based workstations and related equipment. You'll provide friendly, timely support through in‑person and remote channels, track work in a ticketing system, and help improve the end‑user experience through clear communication and practical troubleshooting.

Work location

On‑site in Wichita, KS

Schedule

Core hours Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM (some flexibility) with opportunities for overtime

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software on company devices
• Provide technical support via in‑person, remote, email, and phone channels
• Diagnose and resolve workstation hardware/software issues (from basic to complex)
• Set up new workstations (accounts, email, applications)
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and printer issues
• Maintain accurate hardware inventory and ticket documentation
• Create/update documentation and guides for common procedures
• Stay current on workstation technology and best practices
• Support additional equipment as needed (may include audio‑visual systems, ruggedized laptops, virus kiosks, and other devices)

Must-Have Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of workstation/desktop support (or similar technical support role)
• Windows environment troubleshooting experience (hardware, software, and network)
• Familiarity with DNS, Active Directory (purpose and how it works), and VPN
• Strong customer service and communication skills (technical and non‑technical users)
• Valid state‑issued driver's license (may drive a company vehicle to sites)

Estimated Min Rate: $21.00
