Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver musculoskeletal care and on-site worksite support for employees. You will assess, treat, plan and educate patients to maximize functional goals while promoting ergonomic and safety education within client worksites.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with the medical team, supervising PT assistants, and providing non-clinical worksite support and wellness initiatives. A CAPTE-accredited PT degree and state license are required.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university (CAPTE).
• Current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Physical Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Understanding of clinical documentation requirements utilizing electronic medical records software in accordance with state, federal, and APTA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT treatments including therapeutic exercise, activities, manual therapies and education.
• Develop and implement goal-directed PT plans to maximize patient progress.
• Assist with care coordination and ensure appropriate level of care.
• Supervise PTA’s per guidelines.
• Provide in-home therapeutic exercises and stretches as part of treatment plan.
• Document care in EMR accurately and promptly.
