Marathon Health is hiring a Physical Therapist to deliver musculoskeletal care and worksite support for employees. You will assess, plan, implement, and educate patients while collaborating with a medical team and other health professionals.

The role includes ergonomics guidance, safety education, and wellness initiatives within client worksites. The position emphasizes non-clinical worksite support, care coordination, and continued professional development.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university (CAPTE).
• Current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Physical Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Understanding of clinical documentation requirements utilizing electronic medical records software in accordance with state, federal, and APTA guidelines.
• Outpatient experience for adolescent and adult population.
• Ergonomic training, certification, or experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• Function as part of care continuum and medical team, including physician, PA/NP, OT, health coach, and staff.
• Administers appropriate physical therapy treatments including exercises, activities, manual therapies, modalities, and education.
• Plan and execute a goal-directed treatment program based on assessment results.
• Assist with care coordination and ensure appropriate level of care and follow-up.
• May supervise PTA’s in accordance with professional guidelines.
• Teach in-home therapeutic exercises and stretches as part of treatment plan.
• Document patient care in the electronic medical record promptly.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment; comply with rules and regulations.
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies.
• Develop professional knowledge through continuing education and publications.
• Develop staff by providing resources and in-service training.
• Conduct worksite ergonomic assessments as needed.
• Communicate with interdisciplinary team in planning and implementation of care.
• Attend all Marathon Health center training sessions.
• Identify community health needs and strategies to address them.
• Advise on Marathon Health policy within evolving healthcare delivery.
• Schedule follow-up appointments, screenings, and tests for employees.
• Assist in outreach efforts to target employees at highest risk.
