Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist (WHSS) to lead safety initiatives, audits, and training at a Jessup, PA site. You will champion a proactive safety culture, partner with teams, and help protect associates through effective risk assessments and incident investigations.

The role demands a background in EHS, OSHA knowledge, and strong communication skills to influence safety practices across operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety role or 6 months at Amazon or a Bachelor’s in EHS-related field.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Word and Excel in a professional setting.
• Experience handling confidential workplace security/personnel matters.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety programs through data-driven strategies and lead safety audits, investigations and risk assessments.
• Lead associate advocacy and cultural leadership to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Deliver safety training and translate safety data into actionable insights to drive engagement.
