Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to drive safety programs at our Hamburg, Pennsylvania site. You will use data-driven methods to lead daily audits, investigations, and risk assessments while delivering engaging training to reduce injuries.

You will advocate for associate wellbeing, coach teams, and translate safety data into improvements, partnering with leadership to sustain a safe, productive culture. Flexibility for shifts and first aid certification are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field required.
• 1 year in an EHS related role or 6 months within Amazon EHS.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Ability to handle confidential matters and security issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs with data-driven strategies: audits, investigations, risk assessments, and training.
• Advocate for associate wellbeing and partner with leaders to drive safety culture.
• Translate safety data into actionable insights and continuous improvements.
• Serve as site safety champion and assist in emergencies and response.
