Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in California is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to elevate safety culture across operations. You will lead data-driven safety programs, conduct audits, investigate incidents, and partner with teams to reduce risk while maintaining productivity.

This role requires adapting to flexible shifts, meeting safety standards, and applying First Aid/CPR where required. You will influence behavior and help Amazon remain Earth’s Safest Place to Work.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field OR a Bachelor's degree in EHS or related background OR 6 months safety experience at Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in workplace safety matters.

Responsibilities

• Drive comprehensive safety programs through data-driven strategies and lead daily safety audits.
• Conduct incident investigations, risk assessments and training to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Transform safety data into narratives to influence positive changes and team engagement.
