Tenex Labs is seeking an Operations Coordinator to build and own internal infrastructure for access control, vendor management, and office functions. You will collaborate across hiring, HR, IT, and Finance to connect every step from onboarding to offboarding.

The role emphasizes creating processes that do not yet exist and scaling them as the company grows, with direct impact on audits and security posture.

Qualifications

• Zero to two years of experience, with recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated ownership of something from start to finish.
• An instinct for organization; you keep a list and work the list.
• Precision that holds up under volume; avoid sloppiness.
• Comfort learning unfamiliar software quickly.
• Willingness to switch between auditor requests and office issues.
• Clear written communication, especially when chasing tasks.
• Discretion with employee, candidate, and client information.

Responsibilities

• Own IT access provisioning for new hires and deprovisioning at departure.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding for new joiners across systems.
• Maintain vendor inventory and process vendor reviews.
• Administer compliance programs and data security tools (e.g., SOC 2, ISO).
• Manage office operations: badges, space, AV, supplies, and vendors.
• Serve as liaison between HR, IT, Finance, and external auditors.
