Job summary

Versant seeks a Workplace Engineering Manager for End User Compute to architect and lead unified endpoint services for 9,000+ managed devices. You will shape standards, enforce governance, and drive security-by-design across the endpoint stack.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, partner with Cyber Security and Workplace Product to ensure alignment with business requirements and service quality, while delivering scalable workspace solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership of large end user compute/workplace engineering functions.
• Deep knowledge of the Microsoft end user ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Office 365, Windows 365).
• Experience with VDI and workspace solutions (VMware Horizon, AWS Workspaces).
• Experience governing storage and collaboration platforms (OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive, Dropbox).
• Proven endpoint management skills (Intune, JAMF, Nexthink/DEX).
• Experience across Windows, macOS, Linux endpoints; security-by-design focus.

Responsibilities

• Define platform direction and architecture for end user compute stack.
• Lead multi-discipline teams (onshore/offshore) delivering scalable endpoint solutions.
• Embed security-by-design across devices, identity, data protection, and observability.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security, Workplace Product & Operations to align requirements.
