Job summary

Versant Media in New York, NY seeks a Workplace Engineering Manager, End User Compute, to architect and lead unified endpoint services across 9,000+ devices, embedding security by design and aligning with Cyber Security and Workplace Product & Operations.

You'll manage 14+ engineers, set platform direction, govern standards, and drive observability and compliance tooling across Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading large end user compute teams with architectural strategy.
• Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft end user ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Office 365, Windows 365).
• Experience with VDI and workstation solutions including Horizon, AWS Workspaces, Parallels.
• Experience governing storage and collaboration platforms: OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive, Dropbox.
• Proven governance of endpoint management: Intune, JAMF, Nexthink or TeamViewer DEX.
• Expertise across Windows, macOS, Linux endpoints.
• Familiarity with observability and compliance tooling: Purview, Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace.
• Experience with mobile device management (iOS).
• Experience leading security engineering functions.
• Ability to translate business, security, and operational requirements into scalable architecture.
