ManpowerGroup is hiring a Workplace Design and Construction Project Manager in Solon, OH. The role supports the Workplace Solutions team as the owner’s representative, guiding capital projects from concept through turnover while maintaining operational continuity.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of PM experience in design/construction, strong governance, and proven ability to coordinate across stakeholders. Hybrid on-site presence required in Solon, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field; 8+ years’ experience in design/construction/PM.
• 8+ years of PM experience delivering design, construction, facilities, or capital projects.
• Experience coordinating interior renovations and occupied environments.
• Proficiency with MS 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the owner’s representative and primary point of coordination across stakeholders and partners.
• Lead capital projects from concept through design, procurement, construction, turnover, and closeout.
• Develop project strategy, scope, programming, schedules, and business cases.
• Partner with Procurement to issue RFPs, evaluate bids, and award decisions.
• Manage construction delivery, site access, safety, and documentation.

Our client, a leading organization in workplace design and construction, is seeking a Workplace Design and Construction Project Manager to join their team. As a Workplace Design and Construction Project Manager, you will be part of the Workplace Solutions department supporting the Construction and Project Management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong owner’s-representative mindset, disciplined project governance, and a proactive approach to safety and operational continuity, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Workplace Design and Construction Project Manager

Location: Solon, OH / Hybrid: On site Tues, Wed and Thurs

Pay Range: $90 - $110/hr on W2

What's the Job?

• Serve as the owner’s representative and primary point of coordination across business stakeholders, site leadership, Workplace Solutions, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Risk Management, Safety/EHS, design partners, contractors, and vendors.
• Lead capital projects from early concept and capital planning through design, procurement, construction, turnover, and closeout—driving disciplined, predictable execution with minimal disruption to active operations.
• Develop project strategy, scope definition, programming requirements, preliminary schedules, high-level estimates, and business cases to support capital planning and approval decisions.
• Partner with Procurement to create RFPs, solicit bids, evaluate proposals, compare scope alignment, identify exclusions or gaps, and recommend award decisions.
• Manage construction delivery and closeout by maintaining project controls (schedules, budgets, drawing logs, RFIs/submittals), coordinating safety and site access, and ensuring accurate final reconciliation and documentation.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Administration, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience (8 years of relevant professional-level experience in a similar field).
• 8+ years of project management experience delivering design, construction, facilities, corporate office development, manufacturing, distribution, or capital project execution.
• Experience managing interior renovations, site work, facility upgrades, infrastructure improvements, or workplace projects in active factories, distribution centers, corporate offices, or occupied operational environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and related Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
• Ability to travel to project locations throughout the United States and Canada up to 20%-30% as necessary.
