DAP is seeking a Production Work Leader at the Baltimore Plant to support the packaging area under the supervision of the shift Production Supervisor. The role includes overseeing daily work, coordinating with departments, and ensuring accurate inventory and downtime reporting. The position requires prior manufacturing experience, leadership exposure, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

and wear PPE. Overtime is available with double-time pay after 50 hours, and the pay rate is $28.36–$29.14

This position supports the plant's manufacturing operation by assisting the shift Production Supervisor of the packaging area.Below is the available shift schedule:2nd Shift (Monday to Thursday from 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM)Overtime is available/required. Associates earn double-time pay for all hours worked in excess of 50 hours in your standard work week!

Responsibilities

Assists the Production Supervisor with assigning daily work and directing team membersCommunicates with other departments consistently to ensure efficient workflowAssists in maintaining an accurate inventory by proper reporting of material usage, minimizing waste, reporting any spills, and ensuring all items per case and cases per pallet counts are accurateMaintains production logs to accurately record downtime/issues. Completes all paperwork accuratelyUtilizes SAP softwarePerforms housekeeping duties to ensure a neat and orderly work areaAbides by all departmental and plant safety rulesWorks in other areas as required by business needs

Requirements

Previous experience in a manufacturing environmentPrior experience in a lead role or similar position directing othersMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand for periods of up to 3 hours at a timeAbility to climb steps/laddersMust wear required PPE at all times throughout the shift (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, gloves)Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others

Pay Rate

$28.36/hr - $29.14/hr
