Job summary

DAP is seeking a Production Work Leader at the Baltimore Plant to support the packaging area. The role involves directing team members, coordinating with other departments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring safety rules are followed on the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM) with overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in a lead role or similar position directing others.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for periods of up to 3 hours.
• Ability to climb steps/ladders.
• Must wear required PPE at all times throughout the shift (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, gloves).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Production Supervisor with assigning daily work and directing team members.
• Communicates with other departments consistently to ensure efficient workflow.
• Assists in maintaining an accurate inventory by proper reporting of material usage, minimizing waste, reporting any spills, and ensuring all items per case and cases per pallet counts are accurate.
• Maintains production logs to accurately record downtime/issues and completes all paperwork accurately.
• Utilizes SAP software.
• Performs housekeeping duties to ensure a neat and orderly work area.
• Abides by all departmental and plant safety rules.
• Works in other areas as required by business needs.

This position supports the plant's manufacturing operation by assisting the shift Production Supervisor of the packaging area.

Below is the available shift schedule:

• 2nd Shift (Monday to Thursday from 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM)

Overtime is available/required.

Associates earn double-time pay for all hours worked in excess of 50 hours in your standard work week!

Responsibilities:

• Assists the Production Supervisor with assigning daily work and directing team members
