Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a dedicated supervisor to oversee porters and matrons, coordinate employees, supplies and equipment, and ensure contract cleaning standards are met at properties in Ohio.

You will assign tasks, perform quality checks, train staff on cleaning techniques, enforce safety practices, manage supplies and tickets, and uphold the company’s commitment to exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising cleaning staff and coordinating tasks.
• Ability to train staff on proper cleaning techniques.
• Familiarity with safety equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee porters and matrons; assign tasks based on job requirements.
• Coordinate employees, supplies and equipment for daily operations.
• Perform quality checks to meet Harvard and customer standards.
• Train new and existing staff on cleaning techniques.
• Ensure proper safety equipment and techniques are used.
• Order and issue supplies and manage equipment.
• Review work tickets and oversee general cleaning.

A day in the life:

Supervise, direct, and coordinate employees, supplies and equipment. Responsible for ensuring the cleaning and maintaining of assigned property is completed according to contractual specifications.

Duties:

• Maintain all oversite of porters and matrons.
• Assign tasks to workers based on job requirements or special assignments.
• Perform quality control to conform with Harvard and customer standards.
• Train new and existing staff on proper cleaning techniques.
• Ensure proper safety equipment and techniques are utilized and adhered to.
• Order and issue supplies and equipment.
• Check work tickets.
• Responsible for general equipment maintenance.
• Manage general cleaning.
