PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. in Katy, Texas, seeks a Workforce Supervisor to build and sustain high-performing craft teams and ensure the right people are on each project. You will drive staffing, onboarding, and safety training to deliver exceptional results on solar construction sites.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certificate or postsecondary diploma in a related discipline preferred.
• 8 years of progressive experience in lead hand / foreman role and/or labor relations or related field preferred.
• Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with people and handle confidential information.
• Demonstrated track record of industrial craft and professional recruiting.
• Strong business acumen with understanding of industry practices and new developments.
• Knowledge of labor agreements and government legislation, and PCL policies.
• Experience with LMIA applications and mediations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review project demands with the team and place skilled labor across projects.
• Source candidates to maintain a healthy pipeline for hard-to-fill roles.
• Extend offers and manage onboarding for skilled craft personnel.
• Coordinate safety training and new-hire orientation for each jobsite.
• Provide guidance and training on career management for craft personnel.
• Identify training needs and coordinate safety training for new hires.
