Job summary

YQN Logistics is seeking an HR professional to manage temporary labor and staffing agency partners across warehouse sites. You will plan labor needs, monitor attendance, fill rates and turnover while ensuring compliance.

The role requires coordinating with operations, reviewing vendor contracts and invoices, and implementing cost-reduction initiatives, with travel between sites and multilingual communication capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience, including 2+ years managing temporary labor in warehousing or logistics.
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment law; California experience preferred.
• Experience managing staffing vendors and reconciling invoices.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan labor needs with site Operations, and track attendance, fill rate, and turnover.
• Manage staffing agencies, including contracts, rates, performance reviews, and temp-to-hire conversions.
• Check vendor invoices against approved hours, and look for ways to reduce labor costs.
• Keep temporary labor compliant with federal and state employment laws, including California wage-and-hour rules, and limit co-employment risk.
• Handle employee relations issues and make sure safety and onboarding training is completed.
• Report labor metrics to leadership every week and every month.
