The Lone Star College-Magnolia Center is a state-of-the-art, full-service satellite center that serves as a dynamic hub for higher education in Southwest Montgomery and Southeast Waller counties.
Lone Star College System offers high-quality, low-cost academic transfer and career training opportunities to 90,000 students each semester. The college system has eight main colleges, eight centers, eight Workforce Centers of Excellence and Lone Star Corporate College.
LSC-Magnolia Center offers students the opportunity to complete associate degrees for university transfer and pursue workforce certifications in HVAC and Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Provides direction, teaching, and support for HVAC course objectives and contributes to the educational environment of the Lone Star College System and the community. Responsibilities include teaching and advising students. Primary functions are to plan, maintain, access, and teach courses within the curriculum in a manner that facilitates student success and student learning.
The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; or recurring lifting of moderately heavy items, such as typewriters and record boxes. The work may require specific, but common, physical characteristics and abilities, such as above average agility and dexterity.
Commensurate with education, experience and qualifications but will be no less than $61,390.

Responsibilities of this position will include teaching HVAC in-person labs on Saturday and Sunday at the LSC-Magnolia Center for the program's hybrid courses. This will include holiday weekends to ensure all content is delivered within the specified timeframe of the course schedule.
