Job summary

University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority is seeking a Program Manager for Workforce Safety Reporting in Finance. This full-time hybrid role supports data-driven strategies to reduce employee injury risk and strengthen a culture of safety.

The role partners with leaders to identify trends, implement safety improvements, and serve as the expert for safety reporting systems, analytics, and injury prevention initiatives across UW Health.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree as listed is required.
  • Master's degree as listed is preferred.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in occupational health, injury prevention, safety programs, program management, or related work.
  • 3 years of experience analyzing data and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in project/program management, healthcare operations, or workforce safety.
  • Experience using incident/event reporting systems.
  • Experience working within a healthcare system.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and advance UW Health's workforce safety program through data-driven strategies that reduce employee injury risk and strengthen a culture of safety.
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to identify trends, implement safety improvements, and drive meaningful outcomes for workforce well-being.
  • Serve as the organizational expert for workforce safety reporting systems, analytics, ergonomic programs, and injury prevention initiatives.
  • Transform safety data into actionable insights, education, and system-wide improvements that support team members across UW Health

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Master's Degree in Occupational, Physical Therapy, Nursing, Health Administration, or related field
