Job summary

Power Design is seeking a Workforce Specialist to orchestrate the workforce development strategy, coordinating programs, partnerships, grants, and stakeholder engagements. You’ll be the central point for the Workforce Intelligence function, supporting outreach, meeting prep, and program logistics to move initiatives forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Two or more years of program coordination or administrative experience.
• Experience with workforce development, education, or community organizations a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BTN outreach with schools, colleges, trade programs, associations, boards, and community organizations.
• Research grant and funding opportunities; maintain trackers and assemble materials.
• Prepare for meetings with agendas, briefing materials, notes, and follow-up items.
• Support logistics for career fairs, school visits, partner site tours, and events.
• Convert meeting outcomes into tracked action items and ensure completion.
• Maintain the Workforce Intelligence repository with partner records and program history.
• Build dashboards and status reports for leadership visibility.
• Serve as a professional contact for external partners and maintain Power Design credibility.
• Support the Director of Workforce Intelligence with correspondence and executive deliverables.
• Take on additional duties as the function grows.
