Job summary

IFC - International Finance Corporation is seeking an Associate Human Resource Officer in Washington, DC, to lead and support workforce planning efforts. The role focuses on forecasting, scenario modeling, and aligning HR strategy with business priorities, analytics, and data governance.

You will partner with HR, finance, and business leaders to identify gaps, design actions, and drive budgeting integration. Strong Excel/Power BI skills and experience with AI tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in HR management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in strategic workforce planning.
• Experience linking workforce planning to budgeting, recruitment, and talent management.
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with Excel and Power BI; Python/SQL/R beneficial.
• Experience building reproducible analyses and automating processes.
• Practical experience using generative AI in professional contexts.
• Understanding of data quality, privacy, and responsible use of HR data.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong project and product management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and across teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate end-to-end strategic workforce planning and annual planning cycles.
• Develop forecasts, scenarios, and analytical models for workforce needs.
• Identify gaps with leadership and recommend actions.
• Integrate workforce planning with budgeting, recruitment, and talent management.
• Monitor plans and provide senior leadership with insights and adjustments.
• Create executive-ready analytics, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Improve data quality, documentation, and reproducibility of outputs.
• Identify opportunities to automate planning, reporting, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Build workforce planning capability across HR through tools and knowledge sharing.
