Job summary

You will promote training for disadvantaged and/or displaced residents, provide career guidance, monitor participant progress, and connect customers with community partners throughout enrollment, job search, training, and retention.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent with emphasis on human services, social services, or workforce development preferred.
• One-year college with more years of related work experience will be considered.
• Career Development Facilitator (CDF) certification or willingness to obtain upon employment; valid Driver’s License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and develops training opportunities for disadvantaged and/or displaced residents.
• Provides career guidance support to customers during their involvement in all phases of the program.
• Monitors progress of participant through enrollment, job search/training, and retention.
• Makes referrals to appropriate community partners.
