Job summary

Wayfair is seeking a Workflow Controller to strengthen staffing, planning, and site goals across Wayfair's Fulfillment Network at our Cranbury, NJ site. The role emphasizes daily plan creation, variance resolution, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will build daily plans, monitor performance, forecast demand, and work with operations, planning, and industrial engineering teams to optimize capacity and productivity at the Cranbury facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, math, statistics or related field.
• 3+ years in distribution/manufacturing ops.
• Experience with capacity planning and labor management.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean principles.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create daily operating plans and resolve variances.
• Monitor plans and WIP backlogs for future planning.
• Contribute to mid-long term shift planning.
• Coordinate with site ops and planning to forecast demand.
• Analyze daily/weekly/monthly site performance KPIs.
• Engage at shift level to adjust daily operations.
• Lead problem-solving when goals aren't met (attrition, absenteeism, productivity).
• Support staffing requirements for the daily plan.
• Build relationships to ensure capacity/throughput execution.
• Collaborate with Network Planning and IE to drive improvements.
