Job summary

Compass Corporate in Charlotte, NC is offering a 10-week Summer Internship within the Workforce Strategy team. The program combines in-person and remote work, with three days on-site at Compass Group's Headquarters and two days remote, designed to expose you to executive-level strategy and enterprise decision-making.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with Power BI, workforce analytics, and BI reporting, contributing to labor optimization, compliance, and data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree with a minimum GPA typically around 3.0.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support scheduling, timekeeping, labor pooling, and productivity initiatives.
• Analyze workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Assist with dashboards, reporting, and data validation for insights.
• Track project plans, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Support updates, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
• Contribute to pilots, UAT, release readiness, and process improvement.
• Develop process maps and training materials to improve adoption.
• Provide support to field operators and leadership.
