- Serve as a strategic advisor to assigned business units and partner with leaders across the full talent lifecycle
- Support goal setting, performance management, merit planning, talent reviews, 9-box assessments, and succession planning
- Coach and influence managers on consistent, fair, and legally compliant people management practices
- Partner on workforce planning, job design, and requisition approval
- Manage offboarding processes, conduct exit interviews, analyze trends, and recommend retention improvements
- Guide leaders through performance management, ensuring quality documentation and Workday compliance
- Facilitate HR-related training and leader coaching sessions
- Analyze HR data and prepare reports with insights and recommendations
- Investigate employee concerns and complaints, assess risk, and recommend resolutions
- Communicate policy and organizational changes with leadership
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
- Support HR initiatives, training development, and ad hoc business needs
- May travel between local Cambria locations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or business related required
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience with increasing responsibility
- Experience preferably in a HR Generalist or HRBP role
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Previous experience supporting employees throughout U.S., specifically California, preferred
- Experience supporting Canadian employees preferred
- Proficiency in Workday, including reporting and data navigation, preferred
- Proficient in Google Suites and Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to build strong, credible relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to leaders at all levels
- Strong consulting and influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Expertise in employee relations, performance management, and employment law compliance
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to independently exercise sound judgment while applying company policies and best practices
- Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally / sparingly
- Successful completion of a background verification check required
