Key responsibilities
Requirements Gathering and Prioritization:
Collaborate with Customer Success, Support, Sales, and other internal teams to identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
Prioritize projects based on impact (e.g., cost reduction, lead generation) and company objectives.
Translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications.
Workflow Design and Implementation:
Design and build n8n workflows tailored to team needs.
Oversee rollout of new workflows, ensuring seamless handoff with documentation and training.
Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing workflows.
Internal n8n Expertise:
Identify bugs and opportunities for product improvement and share feedback with product/engineering teams.
Share best practices, templates, and use cases to showcase "how n8n uses n8n."
Requirements
Must-have
n8n and Technical Expertise: Proven experience using n8n to build meaningful and fairly complex automations, including coding custom functions and leveraging APIs.
Business Acumen:
Ability to prioritize tasks based on business impact.
Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical ones.
Execution-Driven and Pragmatic Approach:
Builder mindset: focus on simplicity and iteration over perfection in V1.
Leverage existing tools and avoid reinventing the wheel.
Passion for Automation and Innovation: A strong drive to streamline processes, automate tasks, and explore innovative AI-powered solutions.
Experience: 2–4 years in process automation roles or similar positions, or in building solutions as a freelancer or entrepreneur
UX-Centric and iterative Approach:
proven ability to design and implement solutions with the end-user experience as a core focus.
leverage strong understanding of user needs, pain points, and behaviors, as well as an iterative and feedback-driven process when building solutions
Nice-to-have
IT Ops / Business Systems Analyst Experience: Experience building automation for various teams and working with APIs from business systems such as Salesforce, billing platforms, and HR platforms.
Active n8n Community Member: Engagement within the n8n community, sharing insights, contributing solutions, or collaborating with other users.
Willingness and interest to participate in n8n's marketing initiatives, such as videos or presentations, to showcase solutions and highlight their impact
