Position Description:

Our client is looking for Automation QA Engineer candidates to design and code automated tests to validate new features/enhancements using Typescript and Playwright. This position involves collaborating with architects and business partners to define Agile stories for new capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with architects and business partners to define Agile stories for new capabilities
• Create Test Plans for features
• Understand functional and non-functional requirements
• Design and code automated tests to validate new features/enhancements
• Troubleshoot production issues
• Create/update automated tests to validate functional and non-functional requirements, including security aspects
• Create integration tests
• Work with Release Management team to configure test pipelines for automated test execution
• Develop tools and employ best practices to increase team efficiency
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirements meetings
• Report defects and track defect resolutions
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Maintain test artifacts and repositories such as test plans, test case documents, automated test cases, and execution metrics
• Collaborate with local and remote teams

Required Education | Experience:

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of Test Automation Experience

Required Skills:

• Experience with Object-Oriented programming using C#
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, and UI automation frameworks
• Proficiency with Visual Studio 2015 and above
• Proficiency with GIT, Postman, xUnit
• Experience with XML and JSON
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps
• Self-starter with the ability to grasp complex concepts quickly
• High analytical skills and attention to detail
