Job summary

Project Overview:

Louisiana LNG is located approximately 11 miles southwest of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The project includes a mid-scale, mixed-refrigerant Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on the west side of the Calcasieu River. There are five identical process plants. Each process plant consists of one gas pre-treatment unit, one condensate stabilization unit, and four Chart heavy hydrocarbon (HHC) removal and liquefaction groups. The facility will include associated utilities, refrigerant storage, three 235,000m3 full-containment LNG storage tanks, and three marine berths.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will provide automation support to project teams, including setup, training, application use in work-process, software quality assurance and control, reporting, database administration, and close-out of all construction automation software and applications. Your technical knowledge will help ensure applications and software meet user requirements and are compliant with work processes. #LI-BH1

Major Responsibilities:

Generic

• Provides scheduling, communication, and administrative support
• Reviews and ensures quality assurance testing on all training materialscreated
• Utilizes multiple facilitation methods to engage course participants
• Use data analytics to gather, identify, analyze and interpret patternsand trends
• Support the leadership development programs, data analytics and KPIdashboards of CWEO

Operations Specialist

• Serves as Workface Resource assigned to specific project area,responsible for facilitating all CWE tools related to the identification andmitigation of workface constraints
• Conducts necessary interface points with Site, Area and Frontline
• Management / Leadership and responsible parties for report outs andmitigation strategies
• Possesses responsibility for reporting and tracking project Construction
• Workface Effectiveness Execution Plan progress, including scheduling,attendance, status, and metrics, managing and requesting programmaterials, and/or consumables from the Construction Workface

Effectiveness organization

• Supports and coordinates data collection and reporting, coordinatesanalysis activities, root cause analysis, barrier identification andresolution at a corporate level across projects
• Effectively delivers assigned learning experience responsibilities
• Supports responsible specialists in the field in the facilitation of all CWEtools related to the identification and mitigation of workface constraints

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• The E&I Workface Planner is expected to contribute to safe, efficient, and predictable field execution by applying construction knowledge, work planning discipline, and effective coordination across engineering, construction, project controls, quality, materials, and turnover stakeholders.
• Highly knowledgeable and skilled in installation of Electrical and Instrumentation Scope, through hands on field supervision and/or field engineering experience on Oil & Gas, Petrochemical projects.
• Demonstrated understanding of Advance Work Packaging and Installation Work Package development, including scope definition, sequencing, constraints, material readiness, supporting documents, and turnover requirements.
• Ability to support IWP release planning, 90-day Workfront analysis, and short-interval planning by coordinating with responsible superintendents, field engineers, planners, and construction management.
• Understands construction methods, field constraints, interfaces, access requirements, material availability, and constructability considerations that affect safe and productive execution, relevant to heavy industrial direct hire construction environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical single-line diagrams, P&IDs, installation drawings, vendor information, project specifications, applicable codes, and industry standards.
• Displays effective communications skills crucial to motivating team members and presenting plans in a clear and concise manner.
• Works collaboratively in a team environment, supports issue resolution, and contributes to the identification and removal of constraints that affect workface readiness.
• Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Excel, Power BI, 3D Model Viewers, Aconex, Unifier, Smart Completions, database applications, and other project systems to support planning, constraint management, progress verification, and reporting.
• Able to use digital information sources to validate quantities, identify gaps, support readiness reviews, and provide accurate status updates to project stakeholders Work includes field verifications and the physical ability to conduct progress verifications which require the following activities:extensive walking in and around a construction site often in high heat and high humidity conditions, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces and working in small or confined spaces.
• Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress).
• Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. harness, life vest, lift buckets, etc.)
