Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas coordinates and administers the workers' compensation program under general supervision, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and institutional policies. The role serves as a focal point for WC questions, processes injury reports, maintains records, and communicates requirements to supervisors and employees.

It collaborates with Leave Administration and ADA offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of workers' compensation regulations and guidelines.
• Strong data handling, reporting and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides focal point for questions and problems related to Workers' Compensation and Return to Work.
• Notifies injured employees of coverage and provides required forms and information.
• Maintains and reviews reports and records; coordinates information between employees, departments and adjusters.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in related field
