Job summary

MSIG USA is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Regulatory Compliance Specialist to coordinate bureau changes, filings, and regulatory submissions. You will ensure products remain compliant, competitive, and operationally efficient across jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of Workers’ Compensation, NCCI, and state filing rules, working with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Underwriting, and Legal.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Commercial Workers’ Compensation, Product Development, Regulatory Compliance, or State Filings.
• Working knowledge of NCCI manuals, bureau processes, rating structures, and state requirements.
• Experience using SERFF and state insurance department filing systems.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting multi-state regulatory filings or product initiatives.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and track Workers’ Compensation filings through SERFF and state filing systems.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners for timely filings.
• Draft responses to regulatory objections and information requests.
• Monitor filing statuses and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Ensure compliance across jurisdictions where MSIG USA writes business.
• Monitor bureau updates and implement changes in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Legal, and IT on filings and product changes.
• Assist with testing and validation of product and regulatory updates.
• Identify opportunities to improve filing processes and tools.
