Job summary

Next Insurance, Inc. is seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the profit and compliance of its Workers Compensation product.

You will drive major WC initiatives, translate state and NCCI rules into technical specs, and coordinate with engineering, product, and legal teams to scale automated underwriting and portfolio management. The role demands deep WC mastery, strong project management, and the ability to motivate teams toward compliant, scalable solutions across the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Workers Compensation product.
• Knowledge of WC underwriting principles and automated underwriting.
• Certifications: PMP, Six Sigma or equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with NCCI rules and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with Jira, Figma, Tableau and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-scale project plans and communications to drive WC product initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Communicate project expectations and timelines to oversee product changes.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and legal teams to translate state regulations into technical requirements.
• Define requirements for automation of underwriting and portfolio management.
• Track milestones, deliverables, and metrics; coordinate with the Filings team and WC rating bureaus.
• Design and implement efficient workflows that empower customer service and production teams.
