Meshbesher and Spence LTD is seeking an experienced workers' compensation paralegal with at least 2 years of workers' compensation experience to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate must handle multiple tasks with high attention to detail, manage time effectively, and communicate professionally. This hybrid in-office/remote position offers competitive compensation and benefits in Minnesota.

• Recent workers' compensation paralegal experience in a law firm setting.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing legal support to 1-2 attorneys
• Managing client files
• Drafting legal pleadings, correspondence, and other documents as directed
• Filing pleadings and other documents
• Monitoring case schedules and filing deadlines
• Managing attorney(s) schedule
• Preparing discovery requests and responses
• Preparing medical and wage record requests
• Assisting in trial preparation
• Responding to inquiries from and interacting with clients, counsel, and witnesses
• Organizing and maintaining case files and documentation, electronically
• Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
• Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have great time management, professional communication skills and organizational skills. Candidate must be able to work independently and have a desire to assume significant responsibility.
