Job Title: Workers Compensation Defense Attorney

Job Overview:

A prominent law firm in Redlands, CA, is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney. The ideal candidate will bring substantial litigation experience and a deep understanding of the workers' compensation defense field. Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with attorneys and partners on various legal projects.
2. Draft pleadings, written discovery, motions, and briefs in defense of client interests.
3. Prepare and conduct depositions, including physician cross-examinations.
4. Maintain clear and timely communication with clients, providing legal advice and status updates.
5. Oversee the effective and efficient management of assigned cases from start to finish.
6. Develop and implement legal defense strategies in workers' compensation matters.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience in workers' compensation defense.
2. Proven experience with trial work and cross-examining medical professionals.
3. Ability to independently manage cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
5. Strong strategic thinking and negotiation abilities.
6. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and case management software such as TABS and Abacus is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
