Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm based in California is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in California Workers' Compensation Defense and a passion for providing exceptional client representation. This role offers flexibility with both remote and in-office working options, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.

Duties:

1. Drafting and preparing legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
2. Conducting legal research and analysis
3. Representing clients in depositions, court proceedings, and negotiations
4. Managing cases from intake through resolution, including settlement or trial
5. Communicating effectively both in writing and orally with clients, colleagues, and courts
6. Exhibiting strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Requirements:

• 1-3+ years of experience in California Workers' Compensation Defense
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail and organization
• Experience with drafting legal documents and conducting legal research
• Proven ability to represent clients zealously in depositions and court proceedings

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• An active member of the California State Bar

Skills:

• Excellent legal writing and research skills
