Qualifications

• 36 months of experience evaluating medical or public assistance benefits to determine eligibility for benefits.
• 12 months of experience evaluating medical or public assistance benefits to determine eligibility for benefits.
• Equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment as noted by the agency.

Responsibilities

• Manages a caseload of Workers’ Compensation claims and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to set return to work expectations.
• Performs initial/subsequent investigations within prescribed timeframes and gathers information pertinent to claim management.
• Processes compensation types (TT, Wage Loss, PPI, Lump Sum) and handles follow-up requests through due process.
• Responds to customer inquiries and adheres to Ohio Revised Code and BWC policies.
