Qualifications

• 36 months of experience evaluating medical or public assistance benefits to determine eligibility for benefits, approve/deny claims, or perform similar duties.
• Completion of undergraduate coursework in business or related field with related experience may substitute.
• Equivalent minimum class qualifications for employment as noted in the job posting.

Responsibilities

• Manages a caseload of workers’ compensation claims and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders.
• Performs initial/subsequent claims investigations and determinations within timeframes.
• Processes compensation types and handles related requests and notices.
• Responds to customer inquiries and follows applicable codes and policies.
