Attorney

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Attorney to join our legal team, specializing in Workers Compensation defense cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in Workers Compensation cases
• Conduct thorough case investigations and gather evidence to support clients' claims
• Prepare and file legal documents, including petitions and motions
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and represent them in hearings or trials as necessary
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies
• Prepare for and attend depositions, trials, and other legal proceedings
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active California State Bar license
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Workers Compensation law
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in depositions, and trial work is a plus
