Established defense firm is growing and seeking Workers Compensation Attorneys with at least 1 year of experience to join their congenial team. This role offers plenty of room for growth and an excellent compensation package. Open to both a junior and senior attorney!

Firm Offers:

• Above Market Compensation Package: Genrous base salary depending on experience and substantial uncapped bonus. Bonus is paid out monthly and based on hours billed not hours collected.
• Work Life Balance: 100% remote work from home model for associates with 2+ years of experience. Attorneys can be located anywhere in California. Junior attorneys in LA area encouraged to apply.
• Low Billable Requirement of 200 hours/month and manageable caseload 60-80 files max.
• Robust Benefits Package: that includes 100% covered medical (HMO and PPO options) for employee that starts on the 1st day of the month following date of hire, and 401k.
• Professional Development: Abundant resources and ample opportunities for growth and upward mobility.
• Culture: Congenial and supportive team with very low turnover. New attorney will be receiving new files! Accommodating management and this role does not require travel outside of local boards.

Responsibilities - Represent clients through all phases of workers’ compensation litigation, including investigations, depositions, hearings, trials, and appeals. Conduct legal research and communicate effectively with clients. Independently manage caseload from inception to conclusion including settlement negotiations.

Qualifications - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active California State Bar membership. At least 1 year of experience in the field of workers’ compensation. Excellent written and verbal skills. Self-motivated and able to thrive in a remote work environment.
