Job summary

• Experience with litigation practice, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and mediations in workers’ compensation or related areas.
• Strong analytical and case evaluation skills, with the ability to interpret medical records, employment information, and insurance policy language.
• Effective communication and advocacy skills, including clear written and verbal communication with clients, claims professionals, and opposing counsel.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative approach to working with colleagues and staff, combined with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Comfort with using legal practice technology and case management systems; proficiency in common office software (e.g., MS Office) is beneficial.
• Commitment to professional ethics, client service, and continuous learning in workers’ compensation and insurance defense law.
