Job summary

Protouch Staffing is seeking a Workers' Compensation Attorney for a growing New Jersey law firm. Represent clients from case preparation through resolution, and collaborate with skilled attorneys to advocate for injured workers.

Applicants should have a JD, active NJ bar admission, and 3+ years WC experience or strong relevant litigation background. Excellent research, writing, negotiation, and client service skills are essential. Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active New Jersey Bar admission required.
• 3+ years of Workers' Compensation experience preferred, but attorneys with less experience or strong relevant litigation experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in Workers' Compensation matters from case preparation through resolution.
• Manage assigned cases, including legal research, document preparation, discovery, hearings, and court appearances.
• Communicate regularly with clients and keep them informed throughout the legal process.
• Evaluate cases and develop effective legal and litigation strategies.
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other case-related documents.
• Negotiate with opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and other parties as appropriate.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on complex and challenging matters.
• Maintain accurate and timely case documentation and meet applicable deadlines.
• Provide compassionate, responsive, and professional representation to clients.

• Spanish-speaking ability is a significant plus.
• Strong interest in Workers' Compensation and representing injured workers.
