Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee the self-insured and self-administered Workers’ Compensation Program.
• Supervise Workers’ Compensation program staff on investigation and claims adjustment.
• Oversee the Occupational Return to Work Program administration.
• Interpret California Code and laws applicable to Workers’ Compensation benefits.
• Serve as main contact with county departments, outside agencies, and audits.
• Develop and modify procedures for injury case adjustments and workflows.
• Maintain statistics and cost projections for open reserves.
